The Waste Land is one of the most important poems of 20th century written by T. S. Eliot, an American essayist, playwright and literary critic whose magnum opus being The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock. 

This long poem is written in five parts, titling it as The Burial of the Dead, A Game of Chess, The Fire Sermon, Death by Water, and What the Thunder Sai. Several pages of notes included after every poem, which must help the reader to understand the poem better.
